Elizabeth is a Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with 16 years of experience in family medicine delivering the finest medical care to the patients in her community. Prior to opening her own office in partnership with Dr. Carlos Hernandez, M.D. OB/GYN at her new location, she worked for the United Medical Center, in two different fast-paced satellite rural health care centers. She provides medical care to patients of all ages performing physical exams and assessments, formulates treatment plans and provides patient education, and orders and interprets lab tests and diagnostic studies.

Her patient care philosophy is to provide her patients with precise information about their conditions, and to utilize a variety of very specific administrative and medical care procedures which may be of benefit in specific situations.


Provides care in the area of pediatric and adolescent medicine including but not limited to well child physical exams and sports physicals.

Diagnoses and treats acute common family maladies such as sinusitis, URI, bronchitis, pneumonia, allergic rhinitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, otitis media and externa, conjunctivitis, migraine attacks, gastroenteritis, fractures and musculoskeletal complaints.

Diagnoses and treats chronic medical conditions like diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, asthma, thyroid disease, GERD, obesity, hepatitis, cirrhosis, chronic pain, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, and Sjörgren’s Syndrome.

Provides women’s health services including family planning, PAP smears, and evaluation and treatment of STDs.
